No more rest for Jasprit Bumrah, Dharamsala conditions force India to bring back pacer

IND vs ENG Dharamshala Test: Team India bring back Jasprit Bumrah after being rested for Ranchi Test

Good news for the India Cricket Team fans. After being rested for the IND vs ENG Ranchi Test, Jasprit Bumrah is back with Team India. The ace pacer and the vice captain of the squad will assemble with the squad in Dharamshala. The India squad will assemble in Chandigarh on March 2nd before travelling to Dharamshala the next day.

Jasprit Bumrah was rested for the previous match in the Ranchi Test match. As a part of work workload management, Bumrah was rested. In his absence, the pace attack was spearheaded by Mohammed Siraj. Akash Deep got his maiden Test debut.

But now, the dynamics have changed. The conditions of Dharamshala have changed India’s scheme. After a game’s rest, Bumrah will be back to lead India’s pace charge. Though the game will be a dead rubber it is imperative that India win the match.

The series is done and dusted. India wrapped up the series with a 3-1 win in the Ranchi Test. The Dharamshala Test is slated to commence on 7th March.

India’s updated squad for the 5th Test: Rohit Sharma (C), Jasprit Bumrah (VC), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (WK), KS Bharat (WK), Devdutt Padikkal, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep.
