The IND vs ENG 5th Test in Dharamshala will be a treat for the fans. Not just because the game promises to be special, but also because 2 players are slated to make their 100th appearance in Test cricket. India’s Ravichandran Ashwin and England’s Jonny Bairstow are the two players to add a new feather to their cap.

Both India and England has a rich history in Test cricket. In fact both the nations have more than 10 players who have made 100+ Test appearances. England however, tops the charts by being the only nation with most 100+ Test appearances.

Coming to the two players, both have had varied outings in the ongoing IND vs ENG Test series. England’s destructive batter Jonny Bairstow has fumbled throughout the series. On the other hand, Ashwin has been on song for the hosts. The veteran all-rounder has shone brightly with the ball and has helped India clinch the series 3-1.

Ravi Ashwin has been in fine form. In the past 4 games he has managed to scalp 17 wickets. The best, a fifer in the Ranchi Test which destroyed England’s entire batting order. Conversely, Jonny Bairstow has had a sub par series. His highest run score of 38 came in the 1st innings of the Ranchi Test.

It will be interesting to see how the Test centurions perform in the much anticipated IND vs ENG 5th Test in Dharamshala.
