He waited in the dugout with pads on as Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja built the Indian innings back up after the initial jolt. When Rohit Sharma departed at 131, Sarfaraz got his chance to make his name.
Sarfaraz came in the middle with a positive mindset, and did not hold back at all. He played some good shots all over the park as Ravindra Jadeja assumed the anchor’s role. Sarfaraz brought up his 50 in just 48 balls, courtesy of seven 4s and one 6.
