IND vs ENG LIVE – Mark Wood Injured: “Wood sustained the injury on the fourth day of the second Test at Lord’s and will not be fit to play at Emerald Headingley starting on Wednesday,” the statement read. The ECB further said that Wood will remain with the squad in Leeds and will continue his rehab with the England medical team. The 31-year-old will undergo a final assessment at the end of the third Test match.

IND vs ENG 3rd Test – Will Saqid Mahmood make his debut? Mark Wood is the fourth England fast bowler to go out injured, with England already missing out on the services of Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer. Saqib Mahmood was called up to the squad as cover, and the pacer is in line to be handed his debut on Wednesday. As per Cricviz, Mamhood’s average speed in ODIs (86.02 mph) is the fourth-highest for England after Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, and Andrew Flintoff.
