Ishan Kishan has been named in the ODI series against Bangladesh but has not got a game so far. Kishan has played six ODI innings this year. In those six outings, he has scored 207 runs at an average of 34.50. Shubman Gill is another prime contender for the opening spot. He has played 12 ODI games in 2022 and has stroked 638 runs at an average of 70.88. His strike rate is also above 100.
