Ind vs Ban T20I: Is Mayank Yadav playing today’s match?

The stage is set after being named in the squad for India against Bangladesh for the T20I series. Is pace sensation Mayank Yadav playing in the first T20I?

India’s emerging speedster Mayank Yadav is set to make his debut for the national team in the upcoming clash against Bangladesh in Gwalior. Known for his extremely aggressive bowling style and wicket-taking ability, he grabbed attention while playing for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2024, consistently clocking speeds of 150 km/h. He made his IPL debut against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Lucknow, where he took three wickets for 27 runs in four overs, dismantling the batting lineup. In his next match against RCB, he showcased his fiery pace, destroying the Bengaluru top order and becoming the first player in IPL history to win Player of the Match awards in his first two games. However, in his third match, he bowled only one over before leaving the field due to abdominal pain. After recovering strongly, he is now set to play his first game for India.
