The India Cricket Team take a short break after comprehensively beating Bangladesh by 280 runs in Chennai. And after the win, some of the star players along with head coach Gautam Gambhir has taken a short break. Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Gambhir has travelled to Delhi. On the other hand, skipper Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal have gone to Mumbai.
India take on Bangladesh for the second and last Test match at Kanpur on 27th September. It is expected that the team would rejoining on by Wednesday, i.e 25th September.
Short Break for Indian stars
India wrapped up the first match before lunch on Day 4 therefore got some time to rest before the travel and preparations begin for the next Test match. As a result, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Gautam Gambhir travelled to Delhi on Sunday night to enjoy a short break.
Reports also claim that the two opening batters Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal have travelled back to Mumbai to enjoy a short break before taking on the familiar foes, Bangladesh again in Kanpur.
India’s 10 match Test campaign began on a fine note after the hosts completely demolished the visitors. With all the matches leading up for the mega important Border Gavaskar Trophy, it is of utmost importance that the players get decent break before taking the field again.
