Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli managed to score only 6 runs in the 1st innings of IND vs BAN 1st Test in Chennai before they were sent packing

India cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma’s poor form against Bangladesh in the longest format continues as he his stint at the crease in IND vs BAN 1st Test was short-lived. Pacer Hasan Mahmud managed to get rid of the ‘Hitman’ early in the 1st innings on Day one, sending the batter packing for just 6 runs. Virat Kohli too suffered a similar fate at the hands of Mahmud as he too was forced to depart for just 6 runs.

Rohit Sharma managed to survive 19 deliveries before the Bangladesh pacer drew the first blood. A nipping delivery amid overcast conditions forced Rohit Sharma to play a delivery that found the outside edge and allowed Shanto to take an easy catch at the slips. The Indian captain’s record against Bangladesh in Tests so far amounts to 39 runs in 4 innings at an average of 9.75.
