Viacom18 to stream India vs Australia on 4K, in five channels & 11 languages

At present, India is participating in the ongoing Asia Cup while the Aussies are taking on South Africa in a five-match ODI series

The cricket fans in India will be able to enjoy Virat Kohli’s majestic cover drives on 4k when Australia visit India for a three-match ODI series. The IND vs AUS will the first bilateral series of India after Viacom18 bagged the rights for all the bilateral matches of Indian Cricket for the next 5 years. It will be the first series in the new cycle that will be Live Telecasted and Live Streamed on Viacom18 networks.

At present, India is participating in the ongoing Asia Cup. The Aussies are taking on South Africa in a five-match ODI series at the moment.

The India vs Australia series will be available on five channels and in 11 languages.

Sports 18 channel will broadcast the India vs Australia ODI series in English. Regional fans can tune into other Network 18 channels for local languages. The IND vs AUS clash can be live streamed on JioCinema absolutely free.

Viacom’s triumph

Viacom 18 Media Private Limited acquired the Media Rights from September 2023 to March 2028. The broadcasters bought the rights for a cumulative figure of INR 5,963 crores. The Mukesh Ambani backed broadcast giants pipped Disney Star and Sony Sports Network for the rights.

After the auction, BCCI president Roger Binny had said, “The recent BCCI e-auction has unequivocally demonstrated the vigour of cricket in India.
