IND vs AUS TEST: Ravindra Jadeja continued his preparation for the IND vs AUS Test series as he returned to Chepauk stadium post-injury. The CSK fans at Chepauk went crazy watching Jadeja play in front of them. Jadeja’s fitness was a subject of discussion ahead of the upcoming India vs Australia series. Fans go crazy on Ravindra Jadeja’s Chepauk return

Earlier on Saturday Chennai Super Kings ( CSK) posted a tweet on the social media account and captioned the image, “ A dose of that Anbuden vibe awaits you tomorrow”.  On Sunday the CSK YouTube channel posted a video of fans watching Jadeja play in Chepauk.

Jadeja was named in Team India for the first two Tests against Australia subject to fitness approval.

Having suffered a knee injury during Asia Cup last year, Jadeja was ruled out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. He then underwent successful surgery and completed his rehab, before making his return to captain Saurashtra Ranji return.

The allrounder has so far represented India in 60 Test matches. He has managed to score a total of 2523 runs at an average of 36.56 and a strike rate of 59.50.  In bowling, Jadeja has picked up 242 wickets at an average of 24.71. In total he has hit three centuries and 17 fifties for India in Test format. He has  also picked up 10 five-wicket hauls with the ball in his career so far .

  • India have handed a Test call-up to Suryakumar Yadav and wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan for the first two home Tests against Australia
