Netizens have vented their frustration at Rishabh Pant. The India Cricket Team wicketkeeper apparently threw his wicket in a delivery that shouldn’t have yielded a wicket. Coming into the crease after Yashasvi Jaiswal’s dismissal, Pant stayed on the crease for 4 deliveries and managed to score just 1 run.
Fans were left baffled after Rishabh Pant wanted to attack the deliver off Nathan Lyon and threw his wicket. Too keen to attack the off-spinner, Pant was ready to go on the aggressive. The veteran spinner anticipated the same and changed the delivery. He pitched it wide beyond Pant’s reach who stepped out.
But Pant was unable to reach the delivery and completely missed his footing. The ball goes to keeper Alex Carey who with his lightning reflexes took off the bails in what is a very easy stumping.

The India Cricket Team fans were very angry with Rishabh Pant. Hopes were high for the destructive southpaw to perform well and get some crucial runs under his belt. But alas, he managed to score just 1 run before completely squandering his wicket.
Funnily enough, the Rishabh Pant’s wicket triggered a collapse for India’s middle order. Dhruv Jurel too was quick to depart after scoring just 1 run from 6 deliveries.
