IND vs AUS Test: Jasprit Bumrah exudes “Confidence” with India Cricket Team’s preparation

India takes on Australia for the 1st Test of the BGT at Perth from 22nd November

India Cricket Team stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah has won the toss and opted to bat first in the IND vs AUS 1st Test at Perth. During the toss, the ace speedster went on to explain he is confident about his team’s preparation. He further added that, since they have previously been here, they know what to expect from the WACA Pitch.

Bumrah looked happy after winning the toss and wasted no time in opting to bat first. The Australians on the other hand looked pleased after getting the chance to open with the new ball. Bumrah went on to claim that he knows the pitch gets faster after the first session and the team is prepared to counter it.

Two debuts for Team India

“We are going to bat first, looks like a good wicket. Very confident with our preparation. We played a Test match here in 2018 so we know what to expect. The wicket gets quicker. Nitish makes his debut. We have 4 quicks and Washi is the lone spinner,” Jasprit Bumrah said during the Toss.

India Playing XI: KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant(w), Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Reddy, Washington Sundar, Harshit Rana, Jasprit Bumrah(c), Mohammed Siraj

For Team India, the visitors head into the game with 4 pacers. Bumrah leads the charge as the two debutants, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana join in. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gull miss out on the opening Test.
