IND vs AUS Pitch Report: Spin to win in India Women vs Australia Women Test?

Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. will face mighty Australia at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in the one-off Test match starting on Thursday.

IND vs AUS Pitch Report: India Women are set to face Australia Women in a one-off Test match. Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. will enter the home assignment on the heels of a resounding triumph over England. India were up against England for a home Test a few days ago and won the match by a huge margin of 347 runs.

The spirit4ed Indian side will hope to replicate the dominant performance against Australia, who are taking on India for a red-ball fixture after a long gap of two years. The highly anticipated clash between India Women and Australia Women will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from December 21-24.

IND vs AUS Pitch Report:

Unlike the pitch at DY Patil Stadium, the wicket at the Wankhede looked at bit grassy as per a report from ESPN Cricinfo. However, the Australian skipper Alyssa Healy said it was brown and bare towards each end. According to Healy, the wicket in Mumbai is dry and posting a big total after batting first is must.

Healy also said that the SG ball used for the Test match in India “swings a little bit when it’s shiny but if you can keep it in some sort of condition, it swings the whole day.”
