IND vs AUS: Focus on Shreyas Iyer the Test batter as India aim to keep the winning momentum going against Australia, Sundar gears up for ODI Series
Iyer missed out scoring runs in the second Test against Australia as he was dismissed for 4 and 12 runs in the Delhi Test. With India finishing the second Test within four days players have got a six-day break. Iyer would be aiming to bounce back stronger in the third Test. India have taken a 2-0 lead in the four-match series and would be keen to continue the winning momentum.
On the other hand, Sundar has been selected in the ODI squad as a backup spinner to Axar and Ravindra Jadeja. Sundar is in decent form after coming back from injury. The southpaw scored runs against New Zealand and was the best bowler in the ODI series in Bangladesh. The three ODI series would be vital for India as they build their squad for the 50-over World Cup.
