IND vs AUS Highlights, Day 1: Border Gavaskar Trophy – India 21/0, trail  by 242 runs – Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul survived 9 overs late on Day 1 in a competitive day’s play at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Australia managed 263 batting first with Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb scoring valuable half-centuries. Mohammad Shami picked 4 wickets, while Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja got 3 each. Pat Cummins won another toss and opted to bat first in Delhi. David Warner’s struggle was put to an end by Mohammed Shami. Warner along with Khawaja put on a 50-run opening stand for visitors.

However, both Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green miss out as they are not yet fully fit to return from injuries. Matthew Kuhnemann is making his Test debut for Australia. For India, Shreyas Iyer returns in place of Suryakumar Yadav at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
