IND vs AUS: Indian women’s team to play three-match ODI series Down Under

Last time the two sides met Australia whitewashed India 3-0 in the ODIs

Following the conclusion of the T20 Women’s World Cup in Bangladesh, the Indian women’s cricket team will embark on a three-match One-Day International series against Australia. The first ODI is scheduled to commence on December 5 at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane, followed by the second ODI on December 8, also at the Allan Border Field. The series will conclude with the third ODI on December 11 at the WACA Ground in Perth.

These ODIs will hold significance as they will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship, with points contributing towards qualification for the 2025 ODI World Cup in India. The first and third ODIs will be played in the Day-night format.

It will mark the first encounter between India and Australia since January when the Australians visited India for three T20Is and ODIs each. Australia emerged victorious in both series, securing a 2-1 win in the T20Is and whitewashing India 3-0 in the ODIs.
