IND vs AUS Delhi Test: After the Nagpur Pitch drama, BCCI has reportedly banned Australian Media from taking pictures of the Arun Jaitley Stadium Pitch. The Delhi Test match of the Border Gavaskar Series is drawing attention to the pitch itself for the second time in a row. According to The Age, a guy was falsely accused of capturing the shots of the first Test pitch that became viral. Hence, the ground staff in Delhi instructed Australian journalists to get as close to the boundary as possible before telling them they were not allowed to take pictures there either.

Given that the stands were open and a Getty Images photographer captured at least one clear image of the field on Wednesday, the step of preventing Aussies media seemed fairly unnecessary by ground staff in Delhi.

“It looks pretty dry. The groundsman said the nets look pretty similar and the two days we trained on were really low and took a lot of turn,” Mitchell Starc said on Wednesday morning.

“Having a look the last couple of days it looks like it’s prepared pretty similar as well.”

India has not lost in Delhi since 1987.
