As per the ICC Website, under the section: ‘ICC Umpire and Referee appointments,’ Menon will officiate with K Padmanabhan in the 1st ODI. He will be joined by Virender Sharma and Jayaraman Madanagopal for the 2nd and 3rd ODI respectively.

IND vs AUS: Nitin Menon to continue umpiring for IND vs AUS ODI
During the Delhi test Kohli had scored 44 runs in the first innings before being adjudged LBW to Australia’s Test debutant Matthew Kuhnemann. The ball hit Kohli on the front pad and umpire Menon raised his finger on the appeal of the Australian players. Kohli, asked for a review. The replays showed that the ball hit both Kohli’s front pad and bat simultaneously.
To everyone’s surprise, the third umpire decided to go ahead with Nitin Memnon’s decision. The ball tracker showed that the ball would have clipped the leg stump. A video later emerged about where after India’s innings got over and the side went out to field Kohli was spotted chatting with Menon, presumably about his dismissal.

Team India’s ODI squad for Australia series
In a major statement the BCCI selection committee under Shib Sundar Das removed KL Rahul from the position of vice captain but retained him for ODI series against Australia. Rohit Sharma will be unavailable from 1st ODI and Hardik Pandya will lead the side.
