Australia has been bowled out for 181 in response to India’s first innings score of 185, leaving India with a narrow lead of four runs. More than the lead, India will be pleased with another successful session, although concerns arose as Jasprit Bumrah was spotted wearing training gear instead of the whites and going out for scans, raising questions about his fitness. With Bumrah being the captain, his absence saw Virat Kohli stepping in to lead the team. Kohli, along with the bowling unit, ensured all Australian batters gets dismissed, including debutant Beau Webster and hitter Alex Carey.
