India Record Nagpur Stadium – INDIA AUSTRALIA 2nd T20: Australia claimed a stunning four-wicket victory over India on Tuesday at the PCA Stadium by completing the ninth-highest run chase in T20I cricket history.

Visitors’ efforts in Mohali were phenomenal. As they ultimately resulted in the second-highest run chase by any team in a T20I on Indian soil.

In just his second T20I, rookie all-rounder Cameron Green (61) and captain Aaron Finch (22) set the tone for the chase before veterans Steve Smith (35) and Matthew Wade (45*) made sure Australia reached the challenging win mark with four deliveries left.

Things went right down to the wire but it’s Australia who won the first #INDvAUS T20I.#TeamIndia will look to bounce back in the second T20I.

All eyes will be on now the second T20 of the three-match series, which will be a do-or-die clash for Team India. The second game will be played in Nagpur at VCA Stadium.

India’s T20I record at VCA Stadium

India have played four matches at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in T20 cricket so far.
Out of these four, Men in Blue have won two, while have lost the other two clashes.
In their first T20 match in Nagpur, India lost against Sri Lanka in 2009.
The second match also resulted in defeat as New Zealand crushed India by 47 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
The first victory for India in Nagpur came against England. The home side aided by brilliant Jasprit Bumrah bowling defeated the English men by 5 runs.
In 2019, Deepak Chahar was the man of the moment as India registered their second win in Nagpur. They defeated Bangladesh by 30 runs.
