While Chahal has frequently been overlooked for crucial T20 matches and international meets, Kuldeep underwent a potentially career-ending knee surgery in 2021. Although the UP left-arm wrist spinner has had some success in Test cricket, neither Kuldeep nor Chahal are the most talented batsmen. Washington and Jadeja do, however, come as all-rounders, but only based on tweakers’ abilities, the two wrist spinners are superior to finger spinners.
Due to family obligations, India’s usual captain Rohit Sharma will be absent from the first ODI in Mumbai. Pandya, who will serve as the captain for the game, was one of the players who practiced with the white ball for more than two hours. Fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj, Jaydev Unadkat, Umran Malik, Shardul Thakur, as well as batters Suryakumar Yadav and wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan, were also present.
