“The governor of Assam is pleased to declare half day local holiday on 10th January, 2023 within the Kamrup (Metro) district on the occasion of ODI match between India and Sri Lanka to be held on 10/01/2023 at Barsapara ACA Cricket Stadium, Guwahati,” it said.

IND vs SL 1st ODI Live: The opening match of the three-match ODI series between the two countries will be played in Guwahati, which is part of the Kamrup Metropolitan area. The Men In Blue and the Sri Lankan team have reached at the venue and will begin practice at noon today.
Bumrah & Shami Return: India have Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami returning to the side. Bumrah has not played since October, while Shami suffered a shoulder injury while in Bangladesh. Mainstays in the ODI team, Rohit has his full side under his disposal for the series.
