IND PAK Pitch REPORT – Melbourne Pitch Report: Indian team’s coach Rahul Dravid spent considerable time gauging the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) pitch on Saturday morning. While Indian team was busy doing the nets. Dravid was captured on camera taking a hard look at the MCG Wicket. Dravid was also seen talking to the curator & the ground-staff to understand some nuances about the wicket. The wicket from the look of it has a tinge of GRASS on it – which use help the seamers.

  • Seeing the past data, the SCORE of 160 -170 is a par score at MCG
  • Top 5 Wicket takers at MCG in T20’s are FAST Bowlers, which clearly indicates how the pitch normally behaves at the maomth ground
  • India has posted the HIGHEST ever total at MCG in 2016 when they scored 184 against the home team.
  • India has overall played 4 T20 Games at MCG and has won 2 of those & lost 1. 1 Game did not get any result
  • Pakistan on the other hand has only 1 game at MCG in 2010. The PAK team lost that match against Australia.

IND PAK Weather Update – ICC T20 World Cup 2022 – Meanwhile the good news coming in from Melbourne is that the weather today is much better and the RAIN GODS have relented.

The weather forecast has dramatically improved for blockbuster IND vs PAK  ICC T20 World Cup 2022 match on Sunday (October 23).

No rain has been reported since morning on Saturday. Australian MET department had predicted a 60% chance of rain for the IND vs PAK clash. But till now, the weather seems to be perfectly fine in Melbourne.
