Indian head coach Rahul Dravid and Mushifqur Rahim held a lengthy chat on the sidelines as both India and Bangladesh began training for the 2nd Test in Dhaka. Dravid was observing the surface on offer when he was greeted by Rahim as the two involved in the conversation. Despite the rivalry, the Indian head coach seemingly passed on advice to the Bangladesh veteran. With Indian spinners running riot, it seemed as Dravid helped out Rahim with how to tackle spin better on the subcontinent.

Rahim returns to Mirpur, a venue where he has a fantastic record in Test matches. In his last game at the venue earlier this year, the veteran smashed an unbeaten 175 against Bangladesh. The 35-year-old has two double centuries, a century and a half-century in his 10 innings at the venue.
He averages 45.45 at the venue, significantly higher than his career average of 37. In 39 innings, he has 7 fifties and three centuries at the venue.
Rahim will be itching to get some runs under his belt after a lacklustre performance in Chattogram. He scored 28 and 23 in the 1st test, falling to Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel. The 35-year-old would hope that Dravid’s tips help in overcoming India’s spin threat and put on a mighty score.
