Earlier, India A started Day 2 on a high as Deepak Chahar quickly dismantled South Africa A innings picking all three remaining wickets in no time as the host folded up at 268/10 in the 1st innings. In reply, the visitors had a shaky start and lost four early wickets before Vihari & Kishan resurrected the innings.

Resuming their first innings on 249/7, South Africa A could only add 13 runs to their score as Deepak Chahar looked too good with his pace and lengths. Deepak Chahar returned with 4 wickets while Navdeep Saini and Saurabh Kumar chipped in with 3 and 2 scalps respectively.

IND A vs SA A LIVE score: Earlier, India A fast bowler Navdeep Saini snapped three wickets but South Africa A still managed to score 249 for seven on the opening day of the third unofficial Test on Monday. Opting to bat, South Africa A rode on a fifty each from opener Sarel Erwee (75) and middle-order duo of Tony de Zorki (58) and Khaya Zondo (56).
Saini, who has been impressive in the series with seven wickets so far, gave India A an early breakthrough, dismissing rival skipper Malan (0) in the sixth over, while Saurabh sent back Zubayr Hamza (16) cheaply to reduce the home side to 44 for 2. However, Erwee and Tony took South Africa A past the 150-mark before the latter was run out by substitute Upendra Yadav.
Saini then picked up two quick wickets, getting rid of Erwee and Senuram Muthusamy (0) to leave the hosts at 187 for 5 in 65.2 overs. Khaya Zondo then took the onus and shared a fruitful partnership with Sinethamba Qeshile (22).

India Tour of South Africa: Abhimanyu Easwaran, who could be picked as a backup batter in the top-order, has been in sublime touch on the tour. He scored a hundred in the series opener and followed it up with a fifty in the second innings of the game held earlier this week.

Prithvi Shaw has not made most of his chances in South Africa, not helping his case for selection. After a tough outing in the series opener, the pacers were impressive in the second game with the young Ishan Porel standing out with a match haul of six wickets. Navdeep Saini too was amongst the wickets, taking five in total.

Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar has also not done much in the series but he is likely to be picked in the ODI squad. Meanwhile, Young pacer Umran Malik did not play the last game and could be fielded in the final game of the series which has seen two draws so far.
