The International League T20 (ILT20) is set for its third season, with veterans Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar being the new tournament ambassadors. Both ambassadors come from India and Pakistan, which is interesting because both nations have a large number of cricket viewers.
Earlier, David White, CEO of ILT20, emphasized the UAE cricketer’s role in the upcoming ILT20 season and expressed his excitement about the league’s return. Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar also expressed their excitement about the league’s upcoming season.
“We’re looking forward to an even bigger and better tournament this year. We’re confident this season will raise the bar further and continue to contribute to the growing reputation of UAE cricket on the international stage,” he said.
“We’re thrilled to welcome back Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar for the ILT20 Season 3, as their involvement continues to add immense value to the league. Season 2 was a huge success, with the level of competition and the quality of cricket on display exceeding all expectations,” added White.
