Australia defeated England by 146 runs in the fifth & final Test at Hobart. The visitors go 4-0 in the test series. England got out all out for just 124 runs in response to the 271 runs target set by Australia on Day 3. Pat Cummins, Scott Boland and Chris Green shared three wickets each. England’s opening partnership of 68 runs between Rory Burns & Zak Craley emerged as the only positive. England prevented a whitewash as they survived the 4th Test at Sydney in a last-ball thriller.

Meanwhile, South Africa have risen to 4th in the latest rankings while India has slipped to 5th in the WTC table after India vs SA Test series. The Proteas beat India 2-1 in 3-match Test series.
