ICC to release additional tickets for T20 World Cup matches, including semis

T20 World Cup: Earlier, fans hoping to secure tickets for the tournament faced disappointment after a “technical issue” disrupted the online ballot system.

The ICC in a major step announced additional tickets for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the West and the USA, that will be made available from March 19. For now, the fans could only purchase the tickets for the first 37 matches, and now tickets for the remaining 13 will also go on sale, including the semis.

The release further said that the tickets would go live at the t20worldcup.com, from 7.30 PM IST on the 19th, with prices starting at INR 500 approximately for the matches in the West Indies, and INR 2900 for USA venues.

“We are delighted to have worked with our commercial partners to be able to release these additional tickets to 51 matches to ensure that we are accommodating as many fans as possible at every ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 fixture,” said Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events.
