The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday has released the official event song for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, titled Whatever It Takes. The song is a powerful collaboration featuring the popular all-girl pop group W.i.S.H., renowned music director Mikey McCleary, and composer Parth Parekh.

The single is now available for download and streaming on all major platforms, giving fans worldwide a taste of the excitement building around the upcoming tournament.

With the 2023 edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup drawing over 190 million global viewing hours, the 2024 tournament is expected to attract even more attention. The tournament kicks off on 3 October 2024 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE, with 10 teams competing for the prestigious trophy. Fans are eagerly awaiting the final, which will take place on 20 October at Dubai International Stadium.

Music director Mikey McCleary expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “We’ve captured the energy of the T20 World Cup, and I can’t wait for cricket fans worldwide to hear it.”
