And the delay continues. The International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting with all 15 member boards has been postponed. The main agenda of tete-a-tete was to introduce the newly elected ICC Chairman, Jay Shah. But the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was expected to be one of the main discussion points of the meeting. Well, that won’t be happening until December 7 when the boards meet with the ICC once again.
BCCI vs PCB over Champions Trophy
The schedule for the Champions Trophy should have been out by November 12. As per ICC’s rules, the deadline for announcing the schedule for an event is 100 days. But that hasn’t happened as the tiff between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over the venue continues. As of now, we are just 77 days away, and there isn’t a clue where Team India will play their matches.
