Pakistan WC 2023 Schedule: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the revised schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023. Pakistan team’s three matches have been rescheduled. The Babar Azam-led will begin their ICC World Cup Campaign against Netherlands in Hyderabad on 6th October. But the biggest match for Pakistan will be against India which will now be played on 14th October in Ahmedabad. The Men in Green will also face Australia in Bengaluru and England in Kolkata.
Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka, which was earlier scheduled for October 12 has been preponed to October 10. Their final game against England has also been preponed by a day to November 11.

The PCB and the BCCI have been in crossroads for quite some time. When the ICC revealed the Draft schedule, the PCB immediately had some prime concerns. For quite some time amidst the ongoing crisis for the Asia Cup, Pakistan has revealed they won’t face India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad citing safety concerns.

Then PCB went on to object that they are not keen on facing Afghanistan in a spin friendly pitch at Chennai and Australia in Bengaluru. They proposed that the venues be interchanged. But both the ICC and the BCCI has refused the requested and have stuck with the original schedule.
Among other important fixtures, Babar Azam and his boys will face South Africa in Chennai, New Zealand in Bengaluru and finish their group stage campaign in Kolkata against England.
