It is only Siraj who is not there. We were not sure if Bumrah could play. We wanted someone who could bowl with the new ball. We wanted Arshdeep to do that role. But Siraj's effectiveness comes down with the new ball. It is unfortunate that he misses out but we wanted guys who can perform certain roles

Last 6-7 years, we haven't had the time to sit at home for 45 days. If you see our domestic season, it starts in October and gets over by Feb-Mar. That is when the India cricket team plays the most. There are some guys who play all three formats. You hardly have any time. When you play so much international cricket, you need some time off

Someone averages 700+, those are special performances. At the moment, finding spot in this team is difficult
