I would have beaten him: Harbhajan Singh makes inflammatory comment on Prithvi Shaw’s dismissal

Harbhajan Singh said he would beat Prithvi Shaw if he was in Delhi Capitals for his rash shot selection against LSG on Friday

In the game against the Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw played a brilliant knock of 32 runs in 22 deliveries. However, his innings was cut short after he played a rash shot off Ravi Bishnoi, which was caught by Nicholas Pooran. His knock helped the Delhi Capitals during the initial stages of the run chase, and they won the match in just 18.1 overs.

Harbhajan Singh doesn’t mince his words on Prithvi Shaw’s dismissal

However, veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh was not very impressed by the DC opener’s shot selection. Although Shaw struck at a rate of 145.45, Harbhajan was critical during his commentary on Star Sports. He said, “What was he doing here? If I were at Delhi Capitals, I would have beaten him continuously. There was no need for that shot, and he put Delhi in trouble. When you are batting well, you should make it count, but Prithvi has this habit for going for reckless shots. This should have been avoided.”
