Nicholas Pooran wreaked havoc in the IPL 2024 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The southpaw scored a quick-fire 40* that guided LSG to a great 181/5 in the first innings.
En route to his outstanding cameo, Pooran smashed a 106-metre long six, equaling the longest six record of the IPL 2024 season. During the 19th over, bowled by Reece Topley, Pooran clubbed three back-to-back sixes, third of which earned him the massive record.
Pooran, who smoked five sixes and a boundary, has now joined Venkatesh Iyer, who also tonked a 106-metre maximum against RCB. With this, the West Indian superstar also became only the fourth individual to breach the 100-metre distance with a six in the ongoing tournament.

Pooran’s power and an emphatic innings by Quinton de Kock (81) propelled LSG to a superb total of 181/5 in the first innings. This could prove out to be a fighting score for Lucknow at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium that has not been as belter of a pitch so far this season.
