We are just 38 days away from arguably the biggest sports clash in the world, India vs Pakistan. Two years ago, the electrifying encounter saw 90,000 people gather at the MCG Stadium in Melbourne in what was one of the greatest cricket matches of all time. When trying to book hotel rooms for the high-octane match, we are already seeing a price increase of about 600%. Rooms that are available for $113 (Rs 9422) for a night go from May 2 to $799 (Rs 66624) when trying to book for the India vs Pakistan clash on June 9. Most of the other establishments aren’t increasing their prices by 600%, but all of them are at least doubling them.
