Homecoming! Watch Hardik Pandya enter MI dressing room for the first time since his return

Pandya's return to the franchise was announced in December last year, after he left them for the Gujarat Titans in 2021.

Mumbai Indian’s prodigal son has finally returned. Newly appointed skipper Hardik Pandya has made his way into the MI dressing room for the first time since 2021. Having left the franchise two years ago to lead the Gujarat Titans, the star all-rounder has finally returned to the place where he got his first opportunity to showcase his talent.

As is the case in India, Pandya first thanked the Gods following his successful return to his ‘home’ franchise. The star all-rounder was joined by Mumbai Indians‘ head coach, Mark Boucher, who welcomed him back.

Hardik Pandya has been out of action since October of last year. Having suffered an ankle injury, the all-rounder was under rehabilitation until last month. To prepare for the upcoming IPL 2024 season, the all-rounder decided to spend some time on the field. The Mumbai Indians skipper played his first T20 match since August last year and picked up two wickets.

With MI scheduled to play their first match on March 24 against the Gujarat Titans, Pandya has decided to join the pre-season camp two weeks before and kick things off.
