He achieved this milestone during the IPL 2024 Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals. Currently, Kohli is the league’s highest run-scorer with 8063 runs in 253 matches (245 innings), maintaining an impressive average of 38.95. His tally includes eight centuries and 56 half-centuries.

Which team has most batters in the list of most runs in IPL?
RCB and CSK each have three representatives among the top run-getters. RCB’s Kohli (8063 runs), AB de Villiers (5162 runs in 184 matches), and Dinesh Karthik (4842 runs in 257 matches) feature prominently. Meanwhile, CSK’s Suresh Raina (5528 runs in 205 matches), MS Dhoni (5243 runs in 265 matches), and Robin Uthappa (4952 runs in 205 matches) also make the list.
PBKS and DC contribute two players each: Shikhar Dhawan (6769 runs) and Chris Gayle (4965 runs in 142 matches) from PBKS, while DC’s David Warner (6565 runs in 184 matches) and Faf du Plessis (4600 runs in 146 matches) are among the top scorers.
