Head-Ache for Travis! Australia star faces Gabba blues ahead of IND vs AUS 3rd Test

Travis Head will play at Gabba on the back of brilliant 140 run knock that he played in Pink Ball Adelaide Test

Travis Head will be slightly fluttered when he plays the IND vs AUS 3rd Test in Gabba. While the ace southpaw returns to the match with a century on his back, he will also be troubled that he has 3 consecutive ducks at the iconic Gabba on his last 3 innings in Tests.

Making matters worse for him – Travis Head has 3 Consecutive Golden Ducks in Brisbane in his last 3 innings. And this can be a massive headache for the southpaw. For India Cricket Team it will be a great boost for the team. India pacers led by Jasprit Bumrah and Co will be eager to dispatch Head early so that he can’t punish India like in the previous game.

Gabba Stats a big worry for Travis Head

Despite the 3 golden ducks on his last 3 innings in Gabba, Travis Head however has a good record in Brisbane. In his first match at the venue, he scored 84 against Sri Lanka. This was followed by 24 against Pakistan. His best knock came in the Ashes 2021 where he slammed a stunning 152 and then followed it with a 92 against South Africa in 2022.

Forgetting the three golden ducks for a while, Travis Head has a healthy average of 50.28 from 5 games with a total score of 352. Moreso, Head will be heading into the game on the back of a brilliant 140 that he scored in the Pink Ball Adelaide Test.
