While there are still a few months to go for the T20 World Cup, the permutations and combinations for the perfect India squad are already being looked at. Rinku Singh is surely in contention for a berth, but Rahul Dravid refused to divulge too much details.

Speaking about Rinku Singh’s impact, Rahul said, “Rinku Singh made a fantastic start to international cricket, he is playing well. He is also excelling in the finishers’ role that has been assigned to him. The IND vs AFG T20 series is another opportunity for him to enhance his development even further. Wherever he gets the opportunity to play, be it here or in IPL, it will help in his development. Hopefully, he’ll perform even better in the coming days.”

He also talked about the possibility of Rinku Singh’s selection in India squad for T20 World Cup. “As far as selection in India’s squad for the T20 World Cup is concerned, that can be decided later. But when a player performs consistently, it makes an impact on the selectors for sure,” Rahul said.
