Since the two had similar ancestry, Indian middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer recently disclosed that Rohit Sharma was his childhood hero and that he was raised idolizing him. In 2017 Shreyas Iyer made a big impression on the cricket world by emerging as a dependable middle-order batter in the limited-overs format. Iyer found himself in and out of the team a lot due to injury setbacks, which stunted his progress.
Iyer’s central contract was also terminated following a recent correspondence with BCCI regarding a purported injury concern. However, as the T20 World Cup draws near, the Mumbai cricketer is working extremely hard to win back the apex body’s trust.
Having said that, Shreyas Iyer recently made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, a Netflix comedy series hosted by well-known comedian Kapil Sharma. Iyer was joined by Indian captain Rohit Sharma when they both made an appearance on the entertainment program.
