IPL franchises will be keeping a close eye on the upcoming India-Bangladesh T20I series, which runs from October 6th to October 12th, as three of the young stars, Mayank Yadav (LSG), Harshit Rana (KKR), and Nitish Kumar Reddy (SRH), have been named in the Indian squad.
As a result, the trio of Mayank Yadav, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana can longer be considered as uncapped stars by their franchises if they make their debut in the T20I series against Bangladesh. The three cricketers were included in the squad, and there is a chance that the team can opt for young talents to test their bench strength in this three-match series.
“It may be noted that for retention purposes, any player who gets capped on or before October 31, 2024, will be considered a capped player,” the BCCI official release read.
Yash Dayal also in contention
While Yash Dayal has not been named in the IND vs BAN T20 series, the RCB pacer is likely to make his international debut before the IPL 2025. After his horrific run in the 2023 IPL, Yash Dayal made a decent comeback for RCB in last IPL concluded edition. The left-arm pacer has been very consistent in the domestic format as well.
