India women cricket team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur provided a diplomatic reply when asked about Shefali Verma and Arundhati Reddy’s exclusion from IND vs WI tour. While the out of form opener was once again left out of the upcoming white-ball series, Reddy – who was the highest wicket-taker in the ODIs against Australia – was also surprisingly benched. India will take on West Indies in a three-match ODI and T20I series at home and will be aiming to bounce back after suffering a 3-0 whitewash at the hands of of Australia women.

“I can only talk about the team, (the) team is here and what (all) things we can do to win this series. Regarding Shefali or any other player, (it is) better to ask the right persons,” Harmanpreet Kaur said.
