Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder, was in sublime form in Gwalior. He left his mark as a bowler first in the game, only to double it up with the bat for India. The all-rounder bowled a brilliant spell of 1/26 from his 4 overs, helping India restrict Bangladesh to a low total. With the bat, Pandya took it upon himself to finish things, as he top-scored for the side with a whirlwind 39-run knock off 16 deliveries, studded with five fours and two sixes.

Pandya returned to action for the first time since the IND vs SL series. He has been actively training in the nets as he was not a part of any of the Duleep Trophy squads. Hardik remains an integral part of India’s white-ball setup and will continue to play a crucial role in handling affairs as the jack of all trades.
