Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya isn’t just preparing his body but also his mind ahead of the IPL 2024 season. The star all-rounder has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury during the ODI World Cup 2023.
The 30-year-old has been hitting the nets and was also seen training with MI teammate Ishan Kishan. However, a month before the league kicks off in Chennai, Hardik Pandya is also trying to work on the mental side of things by doing yoga.
Injuries have always been a part of Pandya’s career. The fast-bowling all-rounder has already been forced to leave first-class and Test cricket. However, off-late, the pacer has even struggled to play consistently in the shorter formats as well.
Due to prolonged periods of injury and inability to play, one has to assume that it takes a massive toll on a player’s confidence. With the entire IPL 2024 to be played and then the T20 World Cup 2024 after that, Pandya not only needs to be physically but also mentally fit to be successful.
