Hardik Pandya is a ‘darling guy’ and often misunderstood, says GT player Mohit Sharma

Indian pacer Mohit Sharma praised Hardik Pandya's leadership, calling him misunderstood yet inspiring, with a unique ability to pump players.

Indian pacer and Gujarat Titans player Mohit Sharma recently shared his thoughts on Hardik Pandya’s leadership skills. Both players have been part of the Gujarat Titans team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and Mohit had a lot of praise for Pandya.

During an appearance on the YouTube show 2 Sloggers, Mohit expressed his admiration for Hardik’s personality and leadership style.

Is Hardik misunderstood?

When asked if Hardik Pandya is misunderstood by people, Mohit replied, “The concept of being misunderstood varies from person to person. Some people express themselves openly, and not everyone likes that. Sometimes, in our society, people who express themselves boldly are not easily accepted.”

Mohit shared an analogy, saying, “It’s like when it rains, and we see someone enjoying the rain outside, while we hesitate to do the same. Deep down, we all want to express ourselves like Hardik does, but not everyone is able to do so.”

Hardik’s leadership and influence

Talking about Hardik’s leadership qualities, Mohit said, “Hardik is a great leader who knows how to motivate and energise his players. Even when he faces challenges, like his back injury, he always manages to push himself and inspire others. His ability to keep the team’s morale high is one of his strongest qualities.”

Mohit concluded by calling Hardik a “darling guy” and emphasising how approachable and understanding he is. He stated, “Hardik is a good friend, someone who listens and communicates well. He doesn’t care about what the world thinks, and that’s what makes him a great leader.”
