Hardik Pandya & Abhishek Nayar disagree over boundary in India practice ahead of IND vs SL series

During India Cricket Team practice Hardik Pandya and Abhishek Nayar argue over boundary before intervention from journalist

It is time for the India vs Sri Lanka T20I series. And just in the very first training session under Gautam Gambhir and Co, Hardik Pandya had a disagreement with Abhishek Nayar. The disagreement took place when the new assistant coach Abhishek Nayar gave Hardik Pandya a match simulation scenario.

The duo argued over a boundary. And finally the duo had to resort in taking the opinion from a journalist who was positioned nearby to witness the incident.

Hardik-Abhishek Argument!

The incident unfolded in such a way that Hardik Pandya hit the ball towards the point region. He immediately argued with Abhishek Nayar that it was a boundary. But the Indian assistant coach claimed otherwise since he had already placed a fielder in the exact spot.

As the duo continued to argue about the decision, Nayar went on to ask a journalist. Finally, the duo asked the media personnel who claimed it was boundary despite a fielder being present. To this reply, both Hardik and Nayar burst out laughing. However, later on Hardik won his game simulation.

Not just batting, Hardik also bowled to openers Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal for around 40 minutes. The two top order batters were exclusively asked to come and hit the balls from the very first delivery. Team India had a long 3-hour training session as the Men in Blue prepare to take on Sri Lanka for a 3-match T20I series.
