India cricketer Hanuma Vihari has finally gotten an NOC from ACA (Andhra Cricket Association), which now means the talented batsman will play for a different team from the next season. The NOC took over two months to come after Vihari decided to make a move from the state, after a controversy had erupted during a Ranji Trophy match in January, between him and 17th player Prudhvi Raj.
Hanuma Vihari vs Prudhvi Raj & ACA
Things took an ugly turn when Vihari allegedly scolded Prudhvi, son of a prominent Andhra politician. In fact, Vihari was asked to resign from the captain’s post. And since then, it has been to-and-fro between the association and the India player.
“I have been asking for NOC from 2 months, mailed them 4 times. Didn’t give my NOC. Now that things have turned, they’ve issued my NOC immediately. lol,” Vihari wrote.
