Rishabh Pant’s lively presence behind the stumps was on display once again during Delhi Capitals’ (DC) emphatic seven-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans (GT) on Wednesday. The DC skipper, interestingly, was heard giving some anger management lessons to Kuldeep Yadav.
During the first innings of the match, a fired-up Kuldeep reacted angrily to a powerful throw from teammate Mukesh Kumar at the non-striker’s end. Kuldeep was heard saying “Arey pagal wagal hai kya (Are you mad)” to Mukesh.

Recognizing the potential for simmering tensions, Pant immediately intervened. The cool-headed skipper was heard calming Kuldeep with a simple “Gussa nahi, Gussa nahi (Don’t be angry, don’t be angry)” remark over the stump mic, effectively defusing the situation and allowing the team to refocus on the game in hand.
Pant was caught laughing funnily at the toss vs GT
Even before the commencement of the IPL 2024 clash, Rishabh Pant was brimming with good spirits. After winning the coin toss against GT skipper Shubman Gill, Pant was audibly captured on the stump microphone letting out a hearty laugh. The reason behind his amusement could be because of a friendly banter with his Indian teammate.
This positive energy translated onto the field, as the Delhi Capitals bowlers and batsmen put up a clinical performance to secure a convincing win. They first bundled out GT for their lowest first-innings total of 89 before chasing down the total in 8.5 overs.
