The franchise launched their new jersey by releasing a video of its making on the team’s social media handles. “Proud to have a ⭐ on our jersey! The much-loved jersey is back with enhancements that display our winning attitude. Watch the jersey come alive,” read the caption as the new kits were unveiled.
The players will don the new jersey with a star that is added just above the team’s logo. The only other minor change is the colour of the collar. Last year the team’s jersey had a light blue shade on the collar. This time around, it has been given the colour of the jersey itself.
Gujarat Titans won the title in their very first season by defeating Rajasthan Royals in the final last year. The performance of the team under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya was excellent and the team will try to repeat the same performance.

Being the defending champions, the Titans will begin their campaign at their home ground in Ahmedabad. The Narendra Modi Stadium will host the tournament’s opener and the team will face MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.
