Gujarat Titans bolster IPL 2024 squad with BR Sharath as replacement for Robin Minz

Apart from Minz, Gujarat Titans will also miss the services of veteran pacer Mohammed Shami, who recently underwent surgery for a heel problem.

In a strategic move, Gujarat Titans (GT) have strengthened their squad for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) by adding BR Sharath as a replacement for the injured Robin Minz.

Meet B R Sharath

B R Sharath, a talented wicketkeeper-batter hailing from Karnataka, has been enlisted by Gujarat Titans to fill the void left by Minz’s injury. With an impressive record in domestic cricket, Sharath brings valuable experience to the GT squad.

Having featured in 28 T20 matches, 20 First-Class games, and 43 List A encounters, Sharath is set to make his mark in the IPL arena. He joins the Titans for his base price of INR 20 Lac.

Robin Minz Setback for Gujarat Titans

Robin Minz, who suffered a minor bike accident earlier this month in Ranchi, was forced to withdraw from the IPL due to the resulting injuries.

However, Minz’s father reassured fans that the talented batter is on the path to recovery and is expected to make a full comeback soon.

Minz had attracted attention during the auction last year with a bid of Rs. 3.60 crore from Gujarat Titans, making him one of the promising young talents in the league.

Gujarat Titans losses in IPL 2024

Apart from Minz, Gujarat Titans will also miss the services of veteran pacer Mohammed Shami, who recently underwent surgery for a heel problem. Shami’s absence will be felt by the team, but with the addition of Sharath, the Titans aim to maintain their competitive edge in the IPL 2024 season.

With these strategic changes, Gujarat Titans are gearing up to make a strong impression in the upcoming IPL tournament, showcasing their depth and resilience in the face of challenges.
